Dualtron Standard Seat Kit

I was originally having problems with this seat kit but cooper from mini motors provided excellent customer service and made sure that I was set.

So, let me just start off by saying in order to get this seat on to the stem i had to take the bolts out from underneath the saddle.

Essentially you should be able to just install the stem and then put the saddle on top and tighten the saddle. But through trial-and-error what I found out was the bracket underneath the saddle was very tight and loosening the bolts did not make it loose enough for the saddle to sit flush onto the stem. I could not get it down far enough So when I tightened the bolt , the seat would still come off pretty easily. Like I said, I had to disassemble the mount underneath the saddle, place the main component onto the stem and slightly tap I down with a wrench. Once the main cuff was in place, I then reassembled the mount under the saddle and tightened everything up.

As for the stem portion, make sure you have pushed it into place. Simply sliding it into the bracket will not lock it in place.

After a phone call with Cooper I was able to get this seat functional and set up to my satisfaction. I will be test riding it tomorrow.

Shipped super fast, unfortunately the base didn’t fit the scooter. Reached out and they quickly shipped the correct base. Minimotors customer service is excellent. The seat kit is well made and fits perfectly. My only wish would be they sold the seat kit without the seat and made it so you could add your own seat. Otherwise I am satisfied with my purchase. I would definitely recommend Minimotors and would not hesitate to buy from them again.
