First and only scooter I've owned, had it for about 2 1/2 weeks. Not going to give it 5 stars because it isn't perfect and I have nothing else to compare it to, but so far I'm satisfied with the purchase. I'm 50yrs old/208lbs. and if the speedometer is accurate, I have hit 37 mph several times on smooth flat roads. The ride is rougher than I expected but again, nothing to compare it to. I can imagine scooters without suspension being unbearable but I'll probably never know. I do not care for the pneumatic/tube tires because of the risk of pinch flats I've been told, but this is the scooter I landed on after weeks of looking around and feel this hits the mark as far as affordability, name brand and looks/features. Definitely a head turner and conversation piece. Reviews claim "extreme portability" yet this thing weighs 71 lbs. and isn't easy to carry or put in/take out of the back seat of my full size truck at hip level. I can imagine how difficult it would be to lift high enough with your upper body and shoulders to put in the trunk of a car. (Rotator cuff tear waiting to happen.) I hope I can get at least my $1,500 worth (after extra for extended warranty through third party) because it's a Dualtron. Too early to tell I guess.

Advertised Specs Do not Hold Up

At first, we were not getting more than 20 mph with this scooter. However, after consulting with the vendor we realized that the settings were set incorrectly. The suggestions the staff made were very useful and the scooter achieved the expected speed of 27 mph. Considering that the rider is about 180 lbs, this is the max speed we can expect and we are quite happy about it.

Very good choice for a scooter.
